Where exactly is Rahad Jackson’s palatial home in Boogie Nights (1997) supposed to be?

Is it a real home, and how did PTA find it? I find this scene fascinating, and love how lush that house is. I always assumed somewhere in Laurel Canyon but didn’t know specifically. Does is look anything like Eddie Nash’s home?
